To my great pleasure the crust and rim were soft and liberally dusted with herbs, spices and parmesan cheese. Then, it dawned on me! Normally, I would have pasta with garlic bread with my pasta dish. The box that the scrumptious pasta pizza came in. That’s exactly what I did and was I in for a treat! It was a warm, creamy mound of goodness. There it was, my chicken pasta carbonara was sitting happily in the middle of a puffed pizza crust! The proof of it being good lay in the eating and so all that was now left to do was for me to dive in. Much to my amazement, I reached over to open it. On display is a pasta pizza from Domino’s with a side and a drink. After removing all the items from the bag, I was ready to contact the store to complain about my missing chicken pasta carbonara when I spotted a pizza box bearing that very name. I was a bit confused when the items that were ordered were being unpacked…I expected a styrofoam style bowl or a similar packaging indicating that a pasta dish was present but that was conspicuously absent. On a nippy Sunday afternoon, the desire for a hot, soothing meal led me to selecting a pasta carbonara dish from a nearby Domino’s restaurant.
